That’s a long time and cause for much reflection.
It’s natural to think about changes: new programs, buildings, faculty, staff. Renovations, facelifts, additions to the landscape.
We certainly have had this type of change, especially after becoming a Penn State baccalaureate college in 1997.
Education however is not really about buildings, activities, programs, no matter how important these are. Education is about minds – and hearts – awakened to new ideas and feelings, empowered by learning, and energized by new discoveries and creations.
