Blue and White Days: A Success

On April 19th and 20th, Penn State Abington held an Alumni Weekend. It started Friday Night with Alumni Mixers at three bars in the counties surrounding Penn State Abington– Taqueria del Sol in Willow Grove, Buffalo Wild Wings in Langhorne and Public House in Philadelphia. Alumni were able to mingle and reconnect while having a nice night out.

The following day was filled with endless things to do on campus. An art exhibit, a soccer game, meet and greet with the chancellor and associate dean, geocaching, robotics presentation, ice cream and chocolate tasting, a presentation about the engineering of pretzels, a bouncy house, face painting, balloon creations and a food festival all took over Penn State Abington’s campus!

Alumni and their families had a great time at this event. They were able to see how the campus has changed and reminisce about their time here. Members of past soccer teams were even able to relive the “glory days” in a game against each other. Click here for a recap video of the game and the rest of the day! It was a day full of Penn State pride and what could be better than that?!
